St. Joseph’s Hospitals Resume Elective Surgeries

St. Joseph’s Hospitals are resuming elective surgeries in response to Gov. Ron DeStantis’ plan and are enhancing procedures and processes amid the pandemic to keep patients, team members and physicians safe. “We know COVID-19 is not the only health issue that needs attention in our community,” said Dr. Nishant Anand, chief medical officer for BayCare Health System. “We have plans in place and are ready to safely resume elective surgery procedures to deliver the highest-quality care for our patients. The safety and well-being of our patients, team members and physicians continue to be of the utmost importance to us.”
