Coping with the loss of a loved one and the resulting mix of emotions can be overwhelming. To help families during this time, St. Joseph’s provides a number of services that may help make the grieving process a little easier.

Sponsor a Family
$100 – Provides a family who lost an infant with a memory box including items such as literature for grief support, remembrance mementos, or a charm bracelet.
$100 – Provides a family who lost a child with a butterfly cart that includes items such as literature for siblings to help understand the grieving process, remembrance mementos, and distraction items.
$100 – Provides a family who lost a loved one with a pastoral care basket that includes items such as snacks, remembrance mementos, and distraction items.
$1,000 – Fund supplies needed to create memory boxes for one month. Items include memento supplies, keepsakes, and personalized boxes.
$2,500 – Supply a year’s worth of grief support books, such as When Hello Means Goodbye, written to help families during the early days of their grief.
Support a Memorial
$5,000 – Support the Annual “Walk to Remember” memorial ceremony where families come together to remember their loved ones, share memories on keepsake stones, and release butterflies to honor their passing.
