St. Joseph's Women's Hospital Celebrates 50 Years

Join Us in Celebrating the “Birth Place of Birthdays!"

St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital has been a beacon of hope and healing for women in our community for 50 years. The hospital, originally known as Women’s Memorial Hospital (and later Humana Women’s Hospital) first opened its doors in the fall of 1974 and was the only dedicated women’s hospital in the Southeast at the time.

The hospital quickly became a treasured and highly regarded institution in the Tampa Bay community - delivering hundreds of thousands of babies, providing trusted obstetric and gynecological care to thousands of women, and becoming a leader in breast and oncology services.

We invite you to join us in celebrating St. Joseph's Women's Hospital, as it continues to pave the way for women’s health.
